I am a conservation scientist specialising in mammal ecology and wildlife management. Using camera traps and statistical modelling, I have been involved in field research in the Congo Basin rainforest. Wildlife is essential to both the rainforest and the people who live there. Through exploring their societies and ecology, I aim to develop methods to ensure compatibility between wildlife conservation and local hunting.
