Summary
“Forests alleviate drought and floods. This function is improved by forest management.” You may hear such statements. Are they correct? Such questions are dealt with in my research field, forest hydrology. I will explain what forest hydrology has clarified and what I will clarify during Hakubi's five years. You will learn about the basic concepts and methodology of this research field.
