Dr. Kenji Mizumoto, an expert in infectious disease epidemiology, is a Program-Specific Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability at Kyoto University. His professional interests include the study of the effectiveness of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions against infectious disease. Using a variety of epidemiological methods and statistical/mathematical modelling, he aims to identify optimal public health strategies based on scientific data that can lead effective policy-making decisions.
