Research Interests: Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Physics
Research Topic: Well-posedness of the Initial Value Problem and Behavior of Solutions for Nonlinear Dispersive Partial Differential Equations
I was born and raised in Kyoto, spent nine years as a student or a postdoc in Kyoto University, and finally secured employment. Mathematics was my favorite subject during school days, and I have always liked spending long hours solving challenging math questions. In the lab I usually do calculations on paper. Differential equations are related to all fields of natural science. In fact, many natural phenomena can be simulated using differential equations. In my Hakubi project, I would like to investigate nonlinear partial differential equations, which in general are difficult to analyze. I aim to construct some unified methodology for the study of basic properties of nonlinear partial differential equations, such as the existence of solutions. I am looking forward to discussions with various Hakubi researchers, which I believe will surely yield a number of creative ideas.
