Summary

I will begin with a brief review on the current status of physicalcosmology. It is known that the present Universe is dominated by “dark energy,” but nobody has identified what it really is. This is the biggest mystery in cosmology, probably related to fundamental physics. In recent years I have been interested in modification of gravity as a possible alternative to dark energy. I describe modified gravity and discuss how we can test it.
