Summary
My research focuses on the concept of “diplomatic protection” in international law. When states treat illegally and cause damages to another states’ nationals, responsibility in international law arises and diplomatic protection refers to invocation of such responsibility. In this seminar, I would like to introduce what I have learned about this diplomatic protection and tell you what kind of long-term perspective I am taking in conducting such research. In doing this, I would like to explain what is (maybe a part of) researchers on law are doing in the first place.
