Summary
Infectious diseases are responsible for substantial morbidity and mortality and continue to be of great concern. To ensure better control of the infectious diseases, I have been tackling the issue as a medical doctor, molecular biologist, and public health officer. In this talk, I will introduce my research briefly and share my experience especially about a WHO emergency mission during the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. I would like to have everyone think and discuss what we can do and what we should we do during such outbreaks.
