Summary
What image do you have for microorganisms? Because you are aware of their existence by illness and food poisoning, are they subject to fear? Or might be a healthy impression coming from fermented foods such as yogurt and natto? I am thinking that microorganisms are like a magician who can do anything. In this seminar, through the history of research on microorganisms, the story of unique bacteria, and the project that the speaker is currently working on, I would like to introduce a variety of “tools” handled by those extremely small magicians.
