The 2024 Annual Report Meeting was held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the HORIBA Symposium Hall on the 5th floor of the Kyoto University International Science Innovation Building. This meeting is a long-standing tradition of the Hakubi Project, held annually since its inception 15 years ago. It serves as a valuable opportunity to present research achievements from the past year and to promote exchange and collaboration among researchers.

The event began with opening remarks by Excutive Vice President Susumu Kitagawa and Center Director Yoshinobu Takakura, followed by a photo session including a group photo. Presentations from four current Hakubi researchers followed this. In addition, we were honored to host special lectures by Professor Tomotaka Kuwahara (Leader, RIKEN Hakubi Research Team) and Associate Professor Tsuyoshi Kamimura (Kwansei Gakuin University, Faculty of Law). Lively discussions followed each presentation.

In the foyer, current Hakubi researchers displayed around 50 research posters and publications, stimulating active discussions among participants. These exchanges fostered interdisciplinary dialogue and provided opportunities for future collaborative research.
